Nestled in the hamlet of Lower Priory, Milford Haven,  Priory House offers a blend of modern living and comfort. Our residence spans two floors, each thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of our residents. Recently undergoing extensive redecoration, Priory House now boasts the latest in comfort and energy efficiency, including state-of-the-art double glazing and eco-friendly solar panels. These additions not only enhance the living experience but also affirm our commitment to sustainability.

Priory House has been part of the community of Milford Haven Pembrokeshire for over 35 years.  We pride ourselves on our person-centred approach, ensuring that each resident receives the best possible outcomes by respecting their personal needs and dignity.  Allowing them to live as independently as possible.

Everyone is entitled to be happy – in their home, where they work and in the things they do. The people who support our residents are also entitled to be happy and by treating everyone with respect, fairness and giving them opportunities to grow and succeed we bring about a happy and vibrant environment.

Our commitment to our residents comes first.  With 9 bedrooms, the best improvements often come straight from our residents, ensuring that Priory House evolves with the needs and wants of those who call it home.

Our dedicated team and Trustees, ensures around-the-clock attention, balancing professional care with a personal touch.  Our focus is not just on meeting needs but enriching lives, fostering independence, and celebrating every achievement, big or small.

Ground Floor

The ground floor serves as the heart of Priory House, featuring resident bedrooms, each resident having great input into their own décor.  The quiet room which opens into a sunlit conservatory. The centrepiece is our expansive lounge/dining room, adjacent to a fully equipped modern kitchen. The connected washroom and boiler house underscore our focus on convenience and functionality.

Second Floor – Independence and Care

Ascending to the second floor, you’ll find the Manager’s office, staff bedroom and additional bedrooms for the more independent of our residents.

Personalised Living Spaces

Every resident enjoys a fully furnished bedroom, reflecting their personal style. These have recently been redecorated and the residents have enjoyed getting involved and helping.  Each room is equipped with a washbasin, ensuring privacy and comfort, with bathrooms conveniently located nearby. Our shower/bathroom, refurbished in 2023 with cutting-edge technology, a walk-in bath, all finished to the highest standards and inclusive of the residents needs and comfort.

Facilities for an Enriched Lifestyle

Priory House is not just about comfortable living spaces; it’s about providing a holistic lifestyle. Our laundry room is fitted with efficient washing machines, dryers, and an iron. The communal kitchen is a culinary delight, complete with a cooker, fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. The spacious dining room/lounge, furnished with plush armchairs and sofas, also features a TV and VCR for entertainment.

Grounds

Set within a picturesque one-acre garden, crisscrossed by a stream, Priory House’s outdoor space is an assist to the residents. The meticulously maintained garden, landscaped side area, and inviting patio offer residents a peaceful retreat. The expansive grounds, bordered by woodlands and featuring a large lake, provide a natural sanctuary for relaxation and exploration.

Recreational Delights

Our west side hosts several outbuildings, including an activity building with a pool table and dartboard, perfect for socializing and engaging in hobbies. Additionally, we offer two vehicles for residents’ transportation needs, ensuring convenient access to local appointments and group activities.

Beyond the House

At Priory House, we encourage residents to explore and engage with the vibrant local community. From educational pursuits to leisure activities like theatre and cinema visits, our staff support residents in enjoying a diverse range of experiences. Our annual holiday options cater to varied preferences, ensuring each resident experiences joy and companionship on their vacation.  People living at Priory House can access other organisations that are appropriate to their needs. These include, Value Independence, SSPOT and Frame. These are organisations that offer support, learning opportunities and social events for people in the area.
